While managing CU Denver's Center for Undergraduate Exploration & Advising Instagram page, my marketing and journalism background provided a solid foundation that helped me develop innovative ways to increase our outreach. A combination of campus photography and promotional images informed students and the community about current events.
Video
As an AmeriCorps volunteer at the Boys & Girls Club, I helped create a promotional video that was shown at an annual fundraising event with 500 people in attendance.
Armed with two video cameras and one Macbook laptop with iMovie, I paired up with a coworker to complete this project. We split up shooting footage at three different Boys & Girls Clubs in our area, and met at coffee shops to edit clips and come up with a storyboard. The video here is the final product that was shown at the fundraiser. |
